ARRI Raw 1080P50 over dual link
Did a shoot the other day with a DOP and something went wrong and we only got 1 x 25P stream. This was on the latest firmware.
The DOP who owns that particular Odyssey said he's contacted CD and there is an issue recording high frame rates in ARRI raw. Can anyone else confirm that? Oops - that should read 4K @ 50P - can a mod change the title. |

Re: ARRI Raw 1080P50 over dual link
Dear John,
I am confused. Our Odyssey7Q and Odyssey7Q+, with our Raw Bundle, can support ARRIRAW from the classic ALEXA's, those with ARRIRAW (T-Link) outputs. We support 16:9 mode, up to 60 fps. But, these classic ALEXA's do not output 4K@50. So, what camera were you using? What "Monitor/Recording" mode were you using in the Odyssey7Q or Odyssey7Q+? -------------------------------- From certain cameras, those that can output full uncompressed 4K or Ultra-HD, we support two modes. 1. 4K/UHD via 2SI mode using HD-SDI 3G Dual Link )Two 3G cables). 2. 4K/UHD via HD-SDI 1.5G Quad Link (four cables). Both modes support up to 30 fps. 4K and Ultra HD support at higher frame rates are in our plans, so stay tuned. Respectfully,
