Feature Request: Auto-On Option at DVinfo.net

Having asked about the curious automatic power-on of the Odyssey 7Q/7Q+, I understand it is for those who might forget, in the heat of a shoot, to turn it on, after refreshing battery, especially when the unit is not mounted on-camera.

However, it would be really really nice to be able to disable this function...I often find myself waiting to turn it off, after installing the battery. I like to head out with a fresh battery in the unit, and my spares in my pack, but having to wait (or remember) to turn it off is adding up to significant lost time.
