7q - File corruption issue?
Hi guys
I'm in a pickle and need a point in the right direction. I have a handful of files from my latest BBC shoot that have corruption when played on a computer. They play fine on the 7q but when transfered they have a corruption where the clip flashes green. Has anyone seen this before? - Do I have any chance of salvaging these clips ? Here is a link to one of the clips - http://we.tl/WvElTBQMVq ---------- This is one area the 7q as up to this date not failed in. It is also the one area I can not except failure in on professional shoots. If this were on some of my key shots on this day I would now have major problems! |

Mat,
Since the clips play fine on the 7Q it may be something went wrong with your transfer. I would try to re-transfer with a different cable and SSD card reader. |

Re: 7q - File corruption issue?
Thanks John
I have tried recovering 6-7 times and retransfering. Nothing wrong with the cable. Convergent are taking the drive back for recovery. Great support is the thing that keeps me going with this device - but file corruptions are just not something I can deal with! |

Mat,
I'm glad to hear CD will recover the files for you. Please let us know what the problem was if you ever find out. |
