Clip/SSD issue...
I have 38 clips on SSD1...in the clip viewer via the 7Q I see them, I eject the SSD...it process the clips however when I remove the SSD plug it into the adaptor and plug into my mac, the clips and/or odyssey
clip folder do not appear? I started recording onto the second SSD, ejected popped it out and into the mac and all is fine. How do I get my clips off SSD1? |

Re: Clip/SSD issue...
Eject the SSD's before removing to make them readable.

Re: Clip/SSD issue...
Dear Robert,
Did you perform a "Safe Eject" prior to pulling the SSD from the Odyssey7Q? To perform a "Safe Eject", touch the "^", in the top center of the Odyssey7Q (or Odyssey7), then select which one, or both of the SSD's that you want to remove for uploading their contents to a computer. If you have failed to perform a safe eject, just place the SSD back into the unit, then perform the safe eject. If the original Odyssey7 or Odyssey7Q is not available, any Odyssey7 or Odyssey7Q will work. (At this time, we request that you have the same firmware version on the replacement unit, as the firmware version that was used to record the footage.) And if you have problems, you can call us for support: seven one nine --- nine three zero --- one three seven six or seven two zero --- two two one --- three eight six one Respectfully,

Re: Clip/SSD issue...
Yes like I mentioned in the original post...I did eject ("safe eject") from the get go ...still unable to see a "clips" folder on the SSD's once plugged into the mac.
The file system on the drive somehow became corrupt or was non-existent so I did a "drive recovery" on that SSD via the 7Q...it rebuilt the file system and all was good once I popped the drive into the mac. |
