Re: 7Q as monitor for BMPCC on HDMI - does that work
It's very important you don't cover the lens on the camera or the 7Q will not detect the signal from the Blackmagic. It works when the camera is not outputting black. You will get disconnection errors if you cover the lens of the camera.

Re: 7Q as monitor for BMPCC on HDMI - does that work
Dear Clermond,
I had access to an early BMD Pocket Cinema Camera last year. We connected it to the Odyssey7Q and it worked fine. I do not know of any issues at this time. Disclaimer: We do not have a BMPCC in our lab, and thus we have not formally tested it. Respectfully,

Re: 7Q as monitor for BMPCC on HDMI - does that work
Dear Dan, thanks for your feedback. Probably it's a cable issue. I don't get the BMPCC connected to the Alphatron EVF either. Both have HDMI C ports. The BMPCC works well with the the Marshall LCD50, with a neway 7" and a chinese no name monitor - but all with HDMI A port.

Dear Clermond,
Where you using an adapter with an HDMI cable. I find that these sometimes prevent the signal from getting through. Respectfully.
