New CineArm and Battery bracket for Odyssey in stock at WestsideAV
The new Cine Arm level Bracket is now available on our WEBstore, with numerous different optional battery plates.
Odyssey Level Cine Arm Mount: Westside A V Studios WEB Store The Odyssey level Cine Arm mount is a very simple angled aluminum bracket that is threaded into the back hole with a rubber back so it is impervious to turning, and it has a ¼ inch and a ⅜ threaded hole in the bottom for Noga arms. The bottom hole is also rubberized. This will eliminate the unthreading of Noga arms, because the holes are now on the bottom and the rubber compound helps to grip. There will also be an optional safety bar to protect the BNC's and the power connector on the bottom of the Odyssey. This is a product suggested by Dan Keaton but not in production yet. It is available with an optional battery plate mounting plate for use with heavier batteries (AB/IDX style) as well as the small Sony/Swit/ Canon batteries, that attaches to this level mount so the stress is not on the small screws on the back of the Odyssey.

But will this angle bracket still attach when one uses the stock Sony battery plate that comes from Convergent?
