Storage for Odyssey SSDs...
I was making one out of fabric/plastic like a wallet. But now I am thinking about a solid plastic box with 6 slots for SSDs and a flip closed lid.
I am working on a 3D print of it right now. Is 6 slots the right #? That would make the box about 1 ½" thick. Any input would be appreciated. Is a softish folding wallet better, or a solid box with a lid and slots better? I should have photos of both solutions in a day or so. And a product early next week. Stay tuned and please give me feedback.

Re: Storage for Odyssey SSDs...
Hi Olof,
Thanks for creating great products for us. For added security and peace of mind, I personally would prefer a solid box vs a soft one so I don't have to worry about it if it gets tossed around inside another equipment bag or something. However, I'd love to see your solution with the soft fabric as well. I plan to get a pelican box for 7Q, so maybe a bigger pelican box with SSDs inside your fabric container within the same pelican big box. But your solid box could also be used for transporting the filled up SSDs back to village, download station, or simply for being temporarily stored until the shoot day is over, etc. |
