Nano flash & sony pmw-350 setup
Hi,
Anybody have experience in setting up a PMW-350 & Nanoflash? I need to know what settings to have on the camera & also on Nanoflash in order for it all to work using the record button on the camera. Im hiring this equipment & don't have much time to work it all out on the day of the shoot. Any tips or advice would really come in handy & put me one step ahead on the day. thanks in advance! |

Re: Nano flash & sony pmw-350 setup
Hi Christian,
I run that set up often. Use SDI not HDMI. Make sure the camera output is set to HD (if that's what you want to record) If you want to record progressive - set camera to 25p and on NanoFlash check the Record PSF box Have the camera timecode set to rec run. On the NanoFlash set the trigger to TC last TC. - make sure the timecode is set to embedded (& the audio as well, set to record all four channels). That should get you up & running.
