Re: Convergent Design
Dear Jack,
Is this a professional level POV camera, or a consumer level POV camera? The POV cameras that we have in our lab have HD-SDI outputs (and some may have HDMI outputs also, I just do not know at this moment.) We are working with Weisscam, IO Industries, Lux Media Plan, Indiecam and P&S Technik (not a POV Camera). If this is a consumer level POV camera, then it is likely that they are not following the legal image guidelines, as a normal video camera should not output 0 for black. But, rest assured that we want to fix this. We had a similar problem earlier, which we fixed, on a very expensive POV camera that was outputting illegal values for superwhites. Respectfully,

Re: Convergent Design
It is a consumer-level POV camera.
Thank you for acknowledging the issue. If it can be fixed, I would not need the HDMI to SDI converter. Last edited by Jack Zhang; April 25th, 2013 at 10:37 AM. Reason: saw new reply |

Re: Convergent Design
Dear Jack,
We want to address this issue, for both the nanoFlash and for our upcoming Odyssey7 and Odyssey7Q recorders. Respectfully,
