Getting TC out of F3

First time I needed this but I can't find out why it doesn't work. I want the NF to be triggerd by last TC. I have all the parameters right I think. It seems that there is no TC embedded from the SDI HD out of my F3 cam. I have it on rec run TC. I had it working on an EX3. Am I missing something?

Dear Ron,

Please check the nanoFlash's Timecode setting.

System|Timecode|Source must be embedded, unless you are using one of our Timecode Input cables which allows LTC timecode to be input into the nanoFlash.

It is very easy to see if you are getting timecode from your F3. Check check our timecode display at the top left of our LCD.

If this setting is set to Internal, or LTC, then the trigger on incrementing timecode will not work.

Wow, quick response! That probably is it. I'll continue the job in a few hours not to worry anymore double hitting recordbuttons on a steadicamrig.
Specially the directors reviews won't affect the main recording while playing from SxS
Thanks a lot. Appreciated.

Ron,
You might also try using the NanoFlash to play back takes as well -- I've found it really convenient to work that way since I can be using the camera to prepare/ move to/ rehearse the next setup while the clients are requesting 'one more playback' of some previous take.
