Re: PDW-700 SD-SDI Downcovert to Nanoflash

Dear Scott,

What firmware version are you using?

If there is timecode jitter, then the nanoFlash will display the exact timecode values being received live from the camera.

To prevent this jitter from causing the nanoFlash to go into recording and stopping immediately, we have the Timecode Trigger Delay. A value of 1 requires the timecode to advance for one second (not one frame) before a record will actually start. This solves another problem with HDX900 timecode.

Now, you have set the value to 1 and nothing has changed. This is unexpected.

Thus, I would like to ensure that you are on our latest firmware release, 1.6.248.

Could you please try the Timecode Trigger Delay set to 1, and change from MPG to MXF or MOV as a test?

MPG is actually a different build of the firmware and may not be properly handing the Timecode Trigger Delay menu item.
