distorted audio
Hi, I am at an event recording with the Nanoflash out of a SDI switcher.
I'm taking the audio into the 3.5 mm input Out of the Mackie 1604 taking aux 1 out. whether I have it in "1 channel balanced or 2 channel unbalanced stereo" it sounds distorted. Does not seem to matter where the gain is set. Just lower or louder. What am I over looking? James |

Re: distorted audio
Hello James,
Do you know what the db is set for on the Mackie 1604 taking aux 1 out, since the nanoFlash can only adjust the level so much, also do you have the latest firmware 1.6.248, so you have an adjustable range (compared to previous firmware), Also note that the audio bars will indicate the current levels, Which should be ideally, -20 db (NTSC Standard), or -18 db (Pal Standard) This may take turning down everything on the nanoFlash then turning down everything from the Mackie 1604 taking aux 1 out. Hope that Helps
