Re: 10 bit 422 HDMI with TC?
Dear Michael,
You can take the SSD's, then insert them into the provided transfer station, then connect the supplied eSATA cable to a PC or Mac. If you have a Mac, you can then use Apple Compressor to perfrom a "First Encode" to any Flavor of Apple ProRes. This occurs at 1/2 real time (30 minutes of footage takes 15 minutes). If you have a PC, then you could use other software, such as Adobe Media Encode or other software to do the same. Or you could just transfer the full uncompressed footage. This takes 10 minutes for 30 minutes of footage. Since Disk Drives are so economical these days, you may want to consider this option. Of course, these times will vary, but these are the times that we are seeing with reasonable computers. If one does this with a very slow USB 2.0 Disk Drive, then the times will be longer. Our SSD to your computer will be at 6.0 Gbps transfer speed.
