how to stop playback
Pressing the Play button on the front of the unit initiates playback of the last recorded clip, however, the Stop button does not stop this playback and return you to a live picture.
A simple question but what is the secret handshake to do this? Why is there a Stop button if it doesn't do this? I can't seem to locate it in the manual. |

Re: how to stop playback
Dear Bruce,
Are you using a nano3D? Are you using the two nanoFlashes that make up a nano3D is single nanoFlash mode? Are you using nano3D firmware,1.6.246, with the two nanoFlashes not connected together via the 9" HDMI cable? If so, you will not be able to stop playback. If so, just install 1.6.248 (regular nanoFlash firmware), then each nanoFlash can playback properly and be stopped by pressing the Stop button.

Re: how to stop playback
Dan, yes to all questions. However, the regular firmware doesn't provide 3D features and it's a pain to constantly change the firmware for 2D to 3D and back again.
I think this is something that needs a firmware fix at some point. In the meantime I'll just have to power cycle the Nano Flash to stop playback. Inelegant, but works. |

Re: how to stop playback
Dear Bruce,
I agree. We will put it on the list. Are you switching from 2D more to 3D quite often?

Re: how to stop playback
It varies, but when I do switch from 3D using two Nano Flash recorders to 2D and only using one I usually use the NF that is designated as the Slave. Having either NF working properly in 2D mode would be fine though.
