menu setting issue

I have a strange problem with the Nano:

Everything works perfectly, until I create a "MENUxx.stg"
It no longer takes any recording command, whatever the trigger method chosen .
However, all parameters are well preserved and stored in memory, and it still recognizes the time code from my EX3

As soon as I reformat the CompactFlash, all comes back in order, and I can record on Nano, but of course, }CFG{ folder has disappeared.

on the other hand, if I created a "setting.txt" I have the same kind of problems!

I tried to format the cards again, reinstall the firmware, change the record method .... it's useless.

I'm on 1.6.248 (same problem with 1.6.245)
EX3, SDI

Cards: Delkin 64GB 450x UDMA6, Transcend 64GB 400x UDMA: same problem on both.

Dear Dieder,

Please use a separate CompactFlash card for your Settings.txt or Menuxx.stg files.

Once you have either of these files on a card, you can not subsequently record to the card, unless the card is reformatted again.

Ok, thanks

Now I understand how it works...
... but sometimes, it would be very useful and much faster to use only one card !

Dear Dieder,

Yes, I understand and we will take it under consideration.

We recommend, as a standard practice (in fact, we insist on it), that one formats the cards in the nanoFlash prior to recording. This ensures that the nanoFlash can operate up to its potential.

Thus, just deleting some files and leaving these menu or settings files, then using the card without formatting it, is a problem, as this leaves a fragmented file system.
