Installing Firmware

Dear Friends,

When installing firmware on the nanoFlash or Flash XDR, immediately after the update process is complete, please go to:

System|Restore Defaults

Then press the Right Arrow

Then press OK.

Then re-enter your setup for the nanoFlash or Flash XDR.

This step is important to ensure proper operation of the unit.

Background. We store your setup and other information in Non-Volatile RAM.

With certain releases, the bit assignments may vary. This process clears the Non-Volatile RAM to ensure proper operation.

Is 1.6.245 ready to roll Dan? The definitive article so to speak?

The last firmware for the NanoFlash is now the 1.6.248. It seems very solid.

Dear Friends,

1.6.248 is a Production Level release, not a Public Beta.

We have learned that our "Delete Last Take" function is not working in this release, however.

So wait until it goes public? Presumably an e-mail from C.D.

Dear Ronald,

If you registered your nanoFlash with us, then you should have received an email announcing 1.6.248.

1.6.248 has been elevated from Public Beta to Full Production Level Status..

Please feel free to use 1.6.248.

I did not get an email. Does that imply my Nano is not registered?

Dear Ron,

You can go to our website and register your nanoFlash.

That should put you on the email list.

Yes, I've did it with no problem. No need to going through 1.6.245.
The update process erase the previous firmware, so you can install directly the most recent one.
