Confused on set up to record 24p
I have a JVC gy-hm700. I've spent a couple of hours trying to record in 24p onto the nanoFlash--but I have only been successful recording in 30p and 60i. I've tried the pulldown, I've also selected PSF but I'm either too dense or out of my league. I can't get the nanoFlash screen to show its set to anything resembling 24p.

Dear Mike,
I recommend that you set the Camera to 1080p24 mode, then turn the camera off. Setup the nanoFlash with Video|3:2 Pulldown Removal on. Connect the camera to the nanoFlash, power on the nanoFlash first, then power on your JVC 700 camera. This special procedure for this camera is documented in our manual: JVC 700 / JVC 250 1080P24 Pulldown removal from JVC 700 requires turning the nanoFlash on 1st, then the camera, to work properly. Please let me know if this works. I will send you a Private Message with my phone numbers.

Dear Mike,
Our support staff will be calling you shortly. One problem that can occur with 3.2 Pulldown Removal, is that we need to have the Viewfinder data turned off in the HD-SDI output Of course, one would always want this to be turned off, but if it is on, then it interferes with our ability to detect the 3:2 Pulldown cadence and thus prevents us from recording 24p (or 23.976p).
