Dear Robin,
When you enable the Video|720p 60/50 > 30/25 menu option, you are asking the nanoFlash to eliminate the duplicate frames added in the camera to convert 720p30 to 720p60 or 720p25 to 720p50. When this is enabled, the nanoFlash removes the duplicate frames so that 720p30 or 720p25 is actually recorded. When this is enabled, we are discarding one half of the frames, we are discarding the duplicate frames. Thus we report this with an "h" for "half", or half the frames per second, 720p30 instead of 720p60, for example.
