which cameras???
Does anybody have a concise list of cameras that the nanoflash is compatible with? At first I thought that ANY camera that had an HDMI or HD-SDI output would work but some of these outputs are crippled while recording (like the Canon 7d). So I was wondering ...what cameras work with the nanoflash and all its glorious options for recording? I'm talking mostly about the under $10,000 range. I know the Sony Ex1 offers the 4:2:2 option with the nano...but what about the Sony NX5U?...or the NEX-VG10?
any info would be appreciated. Thanks Steve |

More Cameras Known to work with the Nano
Hi Steve:
The old Canon HDV camcorders are known to work with both the Flash XDR and the Nano Flash, such as..... 1. Original XL H1 (2005) Used condition good second hand camera to pick up. (Uncompressed HD-SDI 1.46 Gbps Full Raster 4:2:2 output) 2. XL H1s (Still available as new and in stock with many resellers) (Uncompressed output also includes embedded audio and TC information in HD-SDI stream) both cameras have been used with the Nano Flash & XDR and are known to work well. |
