Battery for NanoFlash
Seems the two batterys shipped with my NanoFlash worked great for a month then both developed shorts in the wiring between the battery and NanoFlash. I have to wiggle the wires to get them to turn on. Little Frustrating. Love my NanoFlash! Anyone esle having problems with battery. Any other types I can use.

Dear Rick,
We will, of course, immediately replace the battery. Please send an email to: CDSupport (at) Convergent-design (dot) com Does the problem appear at the battery end or the connector end? I learned yesterday that another person was having problems with her battery, also supplied by us. We analyzed the situation and decided to make the leads longer. Her battery was securely mounted on the side of the nanoFlash, but the leads were 4" long and there was stress on the battery leads. We are going to make the leads 7" long. In her case, the problem was not at the connector, but at the battery end. The leads have pulled away from the battery due to stress. (Please note that the following is not meant to accuse you of bad practices, just to inform everyone of the best practices in order to help ensure reliability.) We recommend securing the battery and not letting the battery hang by the cable. We are working on our second design for a secure battery case.
