HDX900 & TC Trigger
I'm trying to use the NF with an HDX900 at 720 30P. NanoFlash set to 50 mbs Long GOP, timecode trigger, record PSF checked. Nano sees source as 720h29 (in lower left of LCD screen), with audio. Nanoflash will record when set to record button but will not record in timecode trigger. Using HD-SDI from video out of the HDX900. Why won't timecode trigger work?

Dear Skip,
Do you have System|Timecode|Source set to LTC or Embedded? If you are using an external timecode cable, then this must be set to LTC. Do you see Timecode in the upper left of the LCD on the nanoFlash?

Dan,
That was it. I have set it to embedded and it works fine. Do I check the record PSF box or not? It seems to work either way? Thanks. |

Dear Skip,
720p is never PSF (as far as I know). The nanoFlash is smart enough to work even if the PSF option is checked and the input source is 720p.
