Smallest CF card NF recognizes??
I would like to carry a copy of the currently installed firmware on a small dedicated card to have on board - just in case . . . However, I've found that none of the very old CF cards which are large enough to hold the firmware files are recognized by the NF - error message WRCache:2000 comes up.
So what is the smallest or most affordable single CF card that would do this job? Open for suggestions and links. |

Dear Bruce,
A 4 GB or 8 GB card, of the qualified card types should work for your purpose. SanDisk Extreme III should work. http://www.convergent-design.com/Pro...3/Default.aspx

Just to reiterate, as Dan said, the speed of the card is very important -- below a certain speed level the Nano will refuse to work with it. Hence the phrase 'qualified card types'
