NANOFLASH & the CANON 7D ??
Could you use a NanoFlash with the Canon 7D, and if so, what would the results be ?
Thanks. |

none of the DSLR cameras offer a clean, full resolution HDMI output. so no, this would not work with the 7D.

And the Magic Lantern hoped for modification from Trammel Hudson has been reportedly locked out by the latest Canon firmware. Many were hoping that this might open up the true potential of the wonderful 7D by being able to go out full signal HDMI to the Nano.
Slight bit of hope though - maybe Canon has locked outsiders from modifications because Canon themselves will be opening the full potential of their marvel? We can only hope they have the vision of what they've created. The images from the internal compression are beautiful - can you imagine the beauty of their 7D out to a nanoFlash compression high bit-rate? What a wonderful marriage that would be. |
