nanoFlash, HC9 and FCP5?

I have a project coming up that will have a Sony HDR-HC9 in a fixed position with HDMI out to the nanoFlash a few feet away. Audio direct from mixer output into nano. Recording SD and then editing and exporting using FCP Pro 5. For monitoring I have a Marshall 70P with SDI input. See any problems with this?

I realize that FCP6 is more compatible with the Nano and plan on upgrading software and computer next year. But I would like to start this project with my current setup.

Thank for any help.

Dear Glenn,

Final Cut Pro Version 5 does not support Sony XDCam formats.

To edit our files, one needs Final Cut Pro Version 6.0.4 or higher, which includes support for Sony XDCam and our formats.

Everything else you said seems fine.
