Switching CF Cards
Does the nanoFlash automatically switch to the second CF card when the first one becomes full? The manual discusses Loop Record but can it automatically switch without being in Loop Record Mode? And, does it loose any frames when doing this or will the MXF or QT files line up perfectly in post?
Also, is there a way to manually force the unit to switch cards or is there a way to choose which card it is writing to? Thanks, Garrett |

Yes, it switches to the next card automatically without skipping a beat... seamless.
The only way I know of to force the switch is to pop out the previous card to force recording on the next. Of course, DO NOT do eject a card while recording. Nasty things like file and card corruption can happen. HTH,

Thanks Bob,
So it will automatically make the switch? I don't have to make any setting changes then. thanks again, Garrett |

Nope... the switch is automatic. But you do need a card in the second slot! ;-)
