Nano with Sony HXR-MC1 or Similar
Does anyone have experience using Nano with this camera? Is it possible? The spec sheet says it has an HDMI out.
Panasonic makes a similar camera, the AG-HCK10, I think. Does this have an HDSDI out? Lastly, does anyone have experience using the Nano with an Iconix RH1? TIA, Eric |

Dear Eric,
Multiple people have used the Sony camera with the nanoFlash with great success. The Iconix camera works fine with the nanoFlash. We use one in our lab. I have no personal knowledge of the Pansconic camera, but if it has HD-SDI or HDMI out, it should work.

Better options than MC1P
Hi there,
We have used the MC1P with a nanoflash and while you get improved recording quality you don't get round the basic issue that the camera is pretty poor and has no image stabilisation. If you REALLY need a camera that small, then it's fine, but we have got much better images out of a consumer Canon HF200. The new Panasonic minicam is apparently a lot better, as long as you bypass the AVCCAM recording and record to NanoFlash using HDSDI. Dave |
