Dear Robin,
I will need to confirm the following information. I believe that the Up/Down arrows, on the nanoFlash, while recording adjust the audio gain, not the headphone volume, and adjust the levels being recorded. While this does affect the headphone volume, it would be inappropriate to adjust the gain to adjust the headphone volume while recording. I do not believe that we have a method to adjust the headphone volume while recording, this is a menu item. We will be increasing the range of headphone volume controllable via the menu option in a future firmware release. Our lowest headphone volume is not low enough for some headphones and situations.

Where in the menu do you adjust headphone volume ? The only audio-related settings are those for the analog audio. Or am I missing something?

Dear Piotr,
To adjust the headphone output level use: Audio|Analog Settings|Gain Out

Dear Dan,
Yes, I'm aware of this setting - but if it indeed also works with embedded audio (I didn't test that), I'd at least put it outside the "Audio-> Analog Settings-> Gain Out" menu branch. In the current official firmware (and in the latest Public Beta) it can be found there, and not where you're saying: "Audio|Audio Settings|Gain Out"... Perhaps a cosmetic issue, but might be misleading :)

Dear Piotr,
I corrected my post to say "Analog Settings". I know it we could make to easier, and we will, as a complete menu revamp is planned. The Headphone out is an analog output.
