Still no TRUE 30 for Quicktime?
Has anyone else tried to record true 30 fps (not 29.97) with the new firmware beta? My XDR is still telling me that the true frame rates are not supported for Quicktime. The true frame rates do seem to work for MXF though.
Can the guys from Convergent Design confirm this is the intended behavior? I thought the true frame rates were supposed to be supported in Quicktime format in this version of the firmware? |

Dear Aaron,
Yes, we added true frame rates for quicktime: • Added support in QT mode for true frame rates (true 24, true 30, true 60). In order to troubleshoot this, could you please tell us how you are generating true 30? What hardware, is this a camera or a computer? If a computer, what software are you using? If a computer, what video graphics card are you using? If a camera, what camera? To the best of my knowledge, we added true 30 support for quicktime, of course, we could have made a mistake.
