Would Sony radio mic bracket work for NanoFlash?

Hi all,

I was browsing through the Sony PDW700 user manual (as you do!) and came across a little diagram showing how to attach an additional radio mic to the 700, using the A8278057B bracket. this is a little bracket that attaches to the V-lok and sits the extra radio mic just behind the battery. Looks pretty sturdy and seems to allow removal of the battery etc while the bracket is in situ.

I'm now wondering whether this bracket works on a 350 (I'm guessing it would) and whether you could mount a NanoFlash on that and still get access to the battery OK.

Mind you, being a Sony standard accessory it might be a bit pricey.

Just a thought.

Dave

I see no reason why you can't use that bracket. It will fit the 350, it has the same threaded holes on the rear. Probably won't be cheap being a Sony part.
