Needed Nano Flash new features
Hi Dan, Mike,
I have a client bugging me on the GPS info with the Nano since I told him it was coming. Do you have a date for that feature? Also over cranking is next on my list. The EX350/Nano combinations are working great. IMHO it would be silly owning this camera without the Nano. |

Dear Paul,
Our Public Beta, which we are currently testing, has the over and under-cranking feature. We will release this just as soon as we can finish the testing. I do not have a specific date for the GPS feature right now.

Dear Mark,
We will put the release on our website, on the nanoFlash Firmware Updates page. Also, I will send you a personal copy for your testing. But, we have not released it yet.

Public Beta Made Available to the Public
Hi Dan:
OK. Since this is a public beta I'm assuming you want to get as many end users testing your builds as possible to get the maximum feedback spread of usability, so I'm always willing to test and report. I've got a similar report coming on the Long GOP 100 in Avid Media Composer 4.0.5. |

Dear Mark,
Yes, we do want to have as many as possible testing our new Public Beta firmware.

Thanks for your response Dan. Nice to know over-cranking is on the way. Would also be nice to know when the GPS options is on the way. Since you know my reason feel free to call and have me test the GPS option.
I would test the over-cranking if you like. I have a very important shoot (aren't they all) in the Keys next week so I could use it on that unless you are not confident that the current features are working smoothly. Meaning happy to test over-cranking but need to be able to count on 100Mbps Long GOP for the shoot. |
