Hey all,
Thanks for all the great suggestions and feedback. The audio issue happened again this weekend while I was present. The operator noticed the audio on his monitor(HDMI out of the nano) sounded distorted. I immediately checked all settings on the device and found them to be correct. We played back the clip we had just recorded and it had the "accelerated" audio problem. We used the nano to playback the clip and we never ejected the card or changed the settings. After we stopped playback, the monitor's audio was fine from the HDMI nano pass-through. We recorded another clip, played it back and the audio was fine. So without ever resetting or power cycling, the problem fixed itself. This is just like the bad color problem we saw before. Power-cycling or just playing back a clip fixes the issues. Long story short, I think we have a malfunctioning unit. I'm going to request an RMA. My guess would be a bad capacitor since it seems to run hot and it developed over time. Just a guess. Thanks again!!! |
