Record start/stop coordination
Is there any way the Nanoflash could coordinate its Record start&stop with the master camera? Would it be possible to watch time code of an EX1 in its "Rec Run" mode in which time code advances only during recording?
Ideally, it would be great if the pre-record cache were dumped into the file as well, though I'm not sure of how to include that data appropriately. Since I'd be using the EX1 as a backup, the Nanoflash could have its own "Rec Run" timecode mode in which internal time code is just a sum of all recordings made, subject to a manual reset. |

The NanoFlash will go into record when an EX timecode runs and you can use cache record. Just use the "Embedded Timecode" record trigger option.

Thanks, Alister. My Nanoflash arrives today, and I'll try your suggestion.
