FinalCutPro XDCAM Plug-in & CD Files

Just upgraded to FCP 7 and installed the subject Sony plug-in.

I cannot recognize any of my Nano or XDR mxf files.

Looking at the FCP presets that the Sony Plug-in installs in the available sequence settings, it appears maybe the problem is that it is limited to 50mb/s and the C-D recorder mxf files I am trying to read are 100mb/s?

Hi John,

you will need the new nanoFlash / XDR firmware for the XDCAM Transfer software to allow import of our MXF files to Final Cut Pro (all MXF files 50 Mbit and above) . We are very close to releasing the new firmware.
