Dan -
I looked at the MainConecpt Web site. They list 4.0.1 and 4.0.2 versions (even they haven't updated) but 4.0.2 has been out for a while. No mention of a newer version that I can find. |

Dear Daniel,
From what you are saying, it looks like I misunderstood what they were saying on their website. We have been told that their update was imminent. If 4.0.2 has been out of a while, then I was wrong. Their update, with support for our modes, is due out shortly.

Hi Mark and co - if you are wondering about AMC compatibility why not just download the 30 day fully funtional demo from Avid? You can test away to your hearts content without having to commit to buy;)

Avid Media Composer 4.x Demo Malfunctions
Hi Jon:
I did so and unfortunately I couldn't get the demo to authorize properly. Avid warned me of a serious problem they were having with their demo blasting the Dongle and warned me not to use it. I found this rather wierd, but there you have it. I will upgrade to it anyway, since I use an Avid certified PC based system to run AMC which is one the compatibility list for 4.0.2. |
