Nano and VHF problem
We are having a problem with our VHF radio in the helicopter. Our frequency range is VHF 120.0 – 136.0 Mega hertz. The noise in the radio is so bad at times no matter what the squelch is set at that we are not hearing other aircraft in the area. It is not all the time.
Our mechanic thinks it is the Nano or the Swit battery. Prior to the Nano we never had the problem. I am not convinced it is the Nano or the Swit battery since other changes have been made to the machine. Always better to ask and wanted to know if those frequencies could be disrupted by the Nano or Swit? |

Hi Paul-
Does the noise go away if you pull the power to the nanoFlash? We're not aware of any issues with noise. The most predominate frequencies in the nanoFlash are 27, 74.25 and 148.5 Mhz, which are outside your range. Best-

No Mike we have not cut the power to the Nano. But today we fly with out the Nano and that will let us know. Thanks for letting me know the frequencies.
