Dear James,

No, we do not recommend, at this time, recording the HDMI output from the Canon 5D Mark II.

The HDMI output was designed for live viewing, not for recording.

Dear Robert,

Various camera manufacturers are working to improve the quality of the HDMI output of their DSLR cameras.

When high quality HDMI outputs are available we expect that the nanoFlash will be in a great position to record them.

Both Sony and Panasonic have either announced or previewed cameras with quality HDMI outputs.
