Nanoflash battery options for small cams
I was wondering what would be the smallest battery configuration for the nanoflash with cameras like the Canon HF10, HFS11, and Sony Xr500v. I have a Sony L-series battery (large), but would like to know what smaller batteries might be suitable and what Convergent Design or third party accessories would look like in terms of size and weight. A one to two hour power time would be acceptable. Thanks in advance.
Also, has anyone tested to determine if the Sony xr500v works with Nanoflash? Pat |

Dear Pat,
We have a fairly small 2-Cell Lithium-Ion battery for the nanoFlash. It provides 3+ hours of record time. Our battery and charger are available now. To make the mounting of this battery easier, we are designing a case for the battery that will attach to the side of the nanoFlash. We also are designing a battery cradle for the Sony L-Series batteries.

Dear Pat,
Our small 2-Cell Lithium-Ion battery for the nanoFlash is: 2.8 (L) x 1.5 (W) x 0.75 (Thick), weight is 3.5 oz This is a 7.4V, 2600 maH Li-Ion Battery that powers the nanoFlash for over three hours. This battery includes the proper 4-Pin Female Hirose power connector for connection to the nanoFlash. We are designing a case, in the same style as our nanoFlash case, for this battery that attaches to the side of the nanoFlash. This case is not ready at this time.
