Nanoflash for D300S test in San Diego?

Hi--

Does anyone have a Nanoflash here in San Diego? I'd like to see what it does with the HDMI out on my Nikon D300S. Might be an interesting test--let me know if you're interested.

Thanks for your time--

Mark,

I'll be at the NFL game this weekend in SD with 2 Nanos with NFL Films. (Incidentally the 1000fps slow motion portion of the commercials which the NFL is airing this year are being recorded with Nanos - at 1080 23.98psf from a high speed camera).

I might be able to meet up with you Saturday or Sunday evenings.

Jeff

That would be great. Thanks! My schedule should be pretty flexible this weekend--let me know when and where would work for you.

Thank you!

I'd love to since I'm local but I have an XDR not a Nano. No HDMI on my box.

Thanks anyway. I now think that the HDMI feed from the camera will always have its little focus area overlay, so I'm giving up on the testing for now.

I'd bet that you are right. I don't think any of the current crop of DSLR allow a high quality signal that is not crippled purposely.

If either of you guys wants to see the Nano you are welcome to join me at the Fish Market Restaurant bar (at the Waterfront) Sunday night after the Chargers game.

Great choice of eatery. My mother-in-law's in town, so I might not be able to make it this time, but will try.

yeah nice place, I eat there about once, sometimes twice a month. The cockles/clams are great, as well as the monk fish.. yummy.

Mark,

I am located in La Jolla and just received my nanoflash. If you are interested in coming by for a quick look or test I'd be willing to let you check it out.
