Copy QT-files back to CF-card for playback

Is there any possible way to copy the recorded QT-files back to a CF-Card for playback with the XDR?
I've tried to copy all files on the CF-card to a harddrive, formated the CF-card with the FlashXDR and then copied them back. But that doesn't work.
Probably the solution is to make a disk-image of the card. I haven't tried this so far.
Is there anyone who tried this way?
Thanks for helping!

I believe this capability is on the Convergent-Design list of planned updates to firmware.

Dear Oliver,

1. Are you wanting to copy original, unmodified, unedited Flash XDR ".mov" files that have been stored on your hard drive back to a CompactFlash card?

or

2. Are you wanting to copy the Flash XDR Files to your hard drive, edit them, creating a new file, using Final Cut Pro, then copy the new file to a Flash XDR CompactFlash card?

If you want to do "2", then Yes, this is definitely on our list.

In fact, we are working on it now.

We will be announcing this new feature within 30 days.

If you want to do "1", then here is how to do this at this time.

a. Format the CompactFlash card in the Flash XDR.

b. Record a short clip, in the format and bit rate of the your files to be copied to the card.
(You may leave the lens cap on so that the image is black.)

c. Copy the files to the }CLP{ directory.

We are working on this to make this process easier.

Please note that copying files to the CompactFlash card interferes with our internal file allocation table, thus once you copy files to the card, the card must not be used to record new files, unless the card is again formatted in the Flash XDR.

I want to do it like case 1.
