Flash XDR for EX3 user
Hi everyone,
Got the Flash XDR a while ago but freshly used it. Except some small issues like enable the Camera SDI out at the beginning, I'm very happy so far! As I said in the threads above, I have a Sony EX3 and use the XDR on AC only. Rationally I think I'll swap my original Sony batteries for a Anton Bauer or IDX kit as suggested in other threads. However I doubt once you have your Anton Bauer mounted on the camera it's still possible to add on your Flash XDR. What about your camera's balance then? I really wonder what does it look like? If anyone has mounted both, I would be very curious to get some pictures. gaelcaron@hotmail.com Thanks in advance and once again Bravo!! to the Convergent Design Team. Gael |

How about a Zacuto rig with the Anton Bauer/XDR mounted on the rails at the back. Should improve the balance. I'm waiting for the Nano, but currently use my EX3 with the Zacuto & AB battery mounted as suggested above & it's fine.

Gael look at my post "New Flash XDR owner" in the forum it has pictures as Chris suggested mounting on Zacuto rails. Very easy and excellent balance.
