Audio only for XDR
I'm wondering if C-D is considering audio only recording with time code for the XDR or the nano? It would save some from buying and extra recorder for double system or backup sound recordings. The time code is there; the audio is there. All we need is a menu option to make this unit a little more versatile?
I suppose you could record video at it's lowest level with high quality audio settings, but the video is still eating memory and you still need to be connected to the camera. Cheers, Scott |

Wouldn't you need to connect it to the camera for TC? Or does it jam?

Great idea! Let me discuss with our engineers tomorrow. We could record in an uncompressed .wav or some similar type file
