My visit to Convergent Design
I was in Colorado Springs, home of Convergent Design, visiting family and emailed Mike about visiting their office.
He said to come on by, even though he was very busy getting ready for IBC. For those of you waiting for your Flash XDR units, have faith. I saw, with my own eyes, quite a few units in various processes of being built. A whole table of them were almost ready to ship. I myself am a nanoFlash early adopter and was very excited to see how small the unit will actually be. By volume, it's about 1/4 the size of the Flash XDR. They told me that 90% of the technology used in the Flash XDR is transferable to the nanoFlash and they hope to deliver the first units in late October. As a former software developer, I understand how time lines can grow longer than expected. I'm sure the wait will be worth it. Just my 2-cents.

Dear James,
Thank you for the very nice report. Yes, a lot of work is going on behind the scenes.
