CODEC Quality Chart
In reviewing an XDCAM CODEC technology white paper from Sony, we decided to overlay the 100 Mbps 4:2:2 full-raster CODEC onto the quality comparison chart created by the CTO of Sony Broadcast. This seems like a very fair comparison, since we're using the same exact Sony CODEC technology in our Flash XDR and nanoFlash.

Updated Chart
Here's the updated chart, a little easier to read. You can see that the 100 Mbps 4:2:2 Long-GOP is clearly above HDCAM quality.
