using cineform files in ae7 pro?

ok because of the nonstop rendering crashes I'm getting with my trial prospect in pp2 and now pp cs3 is also getting them I'm having to do my rendering in after effects. what is the difference between rendering out the files in the default "best quality", "lossless" at full 1920x1080 quality as opposed to changing output from lossless to be a cineform avi instead? then obviously importing the clip back into pp cs3 for my movie (which is a prospect template).

thanks

well I learned one thing, the files are like 10x's larger using the "lossless". however I'm not sure if that equates to better quality. the cineform avi's are coming out looking fairly good to me.
