AspectHD encoder options
To achieve the best image qualiy from HDV ingested via firewire, should i use filmscan2 or its overkill? Thanks

Way overkill. High or Filmscan 1 are the two modes I use.

...between medium, high and filmscan?

Depends on your source footage, that is why we not put data rates in our docs.
If High = X Medium averages 0.8X Filmscan average 1.25X
