50p to 25p
I shot some footage with the HVX in 50p that I want to convert to 25p with 50% slowmo. Is there a way of doing this? HDLink only converts 60p...

I don't generally use HDLink so have no idea if the tool will do it or not, but the process for video is very simple.
1. Ingest the footage as per normal at 50p 2. Drag and drop your AVI into VirtualDub 3. Under Video, select Direct Stream Copy 4. Under Video -> Frame Rate, use the change FPS feature to 25 5. Press F7 and save The only issue I can see with this is your audio will still be full speed. You can strip it out completely by selecting Audio -> No audio. So long as Direct Stream Copy is used, the video will not be recompressed.

Do you change to 25 frames under "Source frame adjustment" or "Frame rate conversion"? I've tried both and I'm getting a slowed clip, but with jerky motion...
