I'm using FCP 5.1 on a Quad G5. Any plans to enable Neo HD to run on Power Mac G5s?

Not as a commerical product. We have years of optimization on the Intel CPU that makes porting a fast version impractical. We do intend to produce a free decoder for G4/G5s, so that content produced on other systems will be compatible.

I was afraid of that. Anyone want to buy a G5 Quad, 6 GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 7800GT?
