Hardware upgrade

Do I need to de-activate my License if I'm going to put a bigger Harddrive in my Laptop, or can I install the new harddrive with the same codes?

If I were in your situation, I would de-activate, replace the disk, re-install with the same codes and re-activate. Why take risks?

I second that. It only takes a few minutes to deactivate and later reactivate a license.

Marc, it's probably best to do as Harm suggests. It just takes moments to de-activate then re-activate. Go to www.cineform.com/register.html to begin the process.

Likewise - it was a great pleasure to meet many of our customers. Thank you for stopping by and introducing yourselves.

NAB '07 was a very good show for CineForm. And hey, it's Vegas - you can't help but have a great time....

Thanks for the info. I just wanted to be sure before I start opening up my Laptop if it was needed or not.
