Which Neo to get?
I'm a little confused. I'm running PPro 1.5.1, and am looking at the Neo and AspectHD programs. Neo HDV indicates it is a ConnectHD update, more or less, which AFAIK is a Vegas-centered program.
For Premiere, do I need to get AspectHD, or will Neo HDV work with Premiere? I'm thinking that Neo HDV is only for Vegas, but I'm not sure... Thanks, Matt |

Maybe I should try to clarify the website.
But the simple story is.... NEO will work with all Windows or MacOS (coming....) applications, with mostly similar functionality cross platform, but of course guaranteed file compatibility cross-platform Aspect HD and Prospect HD/2K are supersets of NEO. In addition to including all NEO features, AHD, PHD, and P2K has our real-time editing and effects engine for Premiere Pro. (NOTE: The new version of NEO WILL work well with Premiere Pro which Connect HD did not, but NEO does not contain our RT engine, meaning its performance will be lower on the PPro timeline.) |

Thanks, that really clarifies things!! Perhaps a "which one to choose for NLE X" FAQ would be good on the Cineform Web site. I really did try to find the answer before posting...
Thanks, Matt |
