Export to M2T from PPro2
Back on May 12, David Taylor wrote that export to M2T from PPro2 "... still requires PP1.5.1 for now. But I think we're on a path to resolution in the not-too-distant future. Sorry about that lingering nuisance...."

Our previous MPEG encoder licensing "partner" strung us along with promises for a new agreement under PPro 2.0 -- which never came through with any reasonable terms. So we are actively working with a new partner. We are testing the new MPEG engine now, before it is integrated with our tools. We expect a much more flexible MPEG export solution than we had with 1.5.1, bypassing all of today's workarounds.

I see some of the new ATI cards e.g. X1950XT come with mpeg-2 encoding acceleration - any chance of supporting something like that - HD really is slow.
